​P2ACH AI, an innovative company in the retail and ad-tech sectors, has announced the commencement of full-scale R&D advancement by welcoming two of South Korea's highest authorities in the AI field—Professor Kim Seung-Ryong of KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) and Professor Eom Chan-Ho of Chung-Ang University—as advisory professors. This appointment is a core strategic move for P2ACH AI to secure the unique technological competitiveness necessary to lead the global retail tech market.

 

Professor Kim Seung-Ryong of the Kim Jae-Chul Graduate School of AI at KAIST is a leading researcher in Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence in Korea. He spearheads world-class research centered on 3D Vision, Neural Network-based Image Reconstruction, and Generative AI. He has made key contributions to the advancement of next-generation visual intelligence technologies like NeRF and 3D Gaussian Splatting through joint research with global institutions such as Google Research and Adobe Research, and actively presents papers and serves as a program committee member at major international conferences.

 

Professor Eom Chan-Ho of the Graduate School of Advanced Imaging at Chung-Ang University is a noted expert in intelligent video analysis, particularly recognized for his research in Object Tracking and Person Re-Identification (Re-ID). After earning his Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Yonsei University, he conducted practical vision research at the Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology (SAIT). Currently at Chung-Ang University, he is researching advanced vision systems, including human/object identification in large-scale video data, CCTV-based behavior analysis, and systems combined with Generative AI, through joint research with global institutions like Meta and Google DeepMind. He is expanding his research achievements through cooperation with various companies and organizations, focusing on vision technology applicable in industrial settings.

 

The core objective of P2ACH AI's advisory appointments is to secure 'Global TOP-Tier Edge AI Technology.'

 

Prof. Kim Seung-Ryong will advise on the development of retail-specific customer behavior analysis and decision-making technology based on Edge-optimized VLM (Vision Language Model) and Generative AI. VLM technology will move beyond simple visual information analysis to deeply interpret the intention behind customer actions. This will support automated decision-making in key areas such as marketing, inventory, and operations.

 

​Prof. Eom Chan-Ho will advise on the research and development of ultra-lightweight Re-ID (Re-Identification) technology. This technology is essential for accurately and seamlessly tracking and identifying customer paths in complex retail store environments. P2ACH AI plans to secure ultra-low-latency, high-efficiency Edge-optimized Re-ID technology that minimizes data processing delays, which will dramatically enhance the accuracy of customer journey analysis in offline stores.

 

Through these advisory relationships, P2ACH AI plans to further refine its existing technologies and utilize its newly secured advanced AI capabilities to accelerate data-driven customer experience innovation and the establishment of high-efficiency decision-making systems in the offline retail environment.
